We’re super excited to share a new video “THERE WAS AN OLD WITCH WHO STIRRED A BREW” with you for Halloween!
It’s a Halloween Song and Adventure Activity for Kindergarten through 3rd graders that can be used in any setting.
We think it’s our BEST video ever and brings together all the fun things we like to do with music and movement.

In this cumulative song and activity adventure, you’ll sing a song, run, duck, jump, dodge, crawl, spell Halloween and do a dance.
“There Was an Old Witch” is an original story song.
The witch must collect all five ingredients she needs to make Halloween Stew! Without the stew there will be NO HALLOWEEN!
The Keeper gives her the challenges and she needs your help to beat the challenges.
The Teacher Cat gives the directions.
Follow the directions to get the ingredients for the Halloween Stew.
The video is approximately 15 minutes long and includes interactive songs & activities for students to help the witch get the ingredients for Halloween Stew. Please note that the VIDEO is not included in this FREEBIE. Just the activities. The video is on YouTube.

This is a cumulative song and makes a fun literacy activity for the week of Halloween.
After singing the song and doing the activities you can ask students to recite the order of the ingredients, review the sequence of events and discuss the challenges.
The activities include playing instruments, hand actions and a game.
HOMESCHOOL:
This resource is easily used with even one child. All of the activities except the game can be done at home.
