  • Practice the patterns, with the video.
  • Do each action first before combining.

This resource offers a variety of teaching strategies and learning experiences to help your students internalize the steady beat.

Students will love sharing their very own Halloween character body percussion actions.

Be sure to use the activities over the entire month and then that last week of HALLOWEEN, you can have the students share their own creations.

Create an Spooky Look in your classroom using just lights! They are easy to put up and take down and can change the mood immediately. You may find your students more calm when you have lights in your room. And you can encourage them to have good behavior so that the lights stay up (But- I don’t recommend threatening them with taking them down if some students don’t keep the rules. I just use it as a positive reward because I know I can trust my students to make good choices even with “lights” on in the room.)
